David R. Richmon
David obtained a B.Sc. in 1989 from
York University and his Juris Doctor
(J.D.) in
1994 from Osgoode Hall Law School. He
has practiced at Futerman Partners LLP
since his call to the Bar in 1996. He
became a partner in 2002. David’s
practice focuses on civil litigation and
insurance law with a particular emphasis
on serious traumatic personal injury
litigation, medical malpractice cases
and statutory accident benefit claims.
David regularly appears before the
Ontario Superior Court of Justice on
behalf of injured clients and their
families. He has also appeared before
Ontario’s Divisional Court and Court of
Appeal, the Financial Services
Commission, the Workplace Safety and
Insurance Board Appeals Tribunal and the
Criminal Injuries Compensation
Board. Given his expertise, David is
frequently consulted by other lawyers on
personal injury matters. David is a
member of the Advocate Society, the
Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario
Trial Lawyers Association, the
Medico-Legal Society of Toronto and the
Toronto Lawyers Association. |
